Khalil Fong Defends Fiona Sit, reveals the truth behind the Attacker

Khalil Fong held a press conference yesterday in Central, announcing his upcoming mini concert, Khalil Fong Wonderland Concert at Star Hall on March 30th and 31st. Many media outfits were invited to attend the press conference. He played and sang two songs, and revealed that the theme of his concert is environmental protection. Khalil revealed that his earlier Taiwan mini concert was warm up for the upcoming concerts; he even gained a few pounds during the Taiwan trip.

Fiona Sit, FAMA, Kay Tse, and Endy Chow will be the guests at the mini-concert. Originally, Khalil wanted to invite Andy Lau to be a guest. However, Andy is on a long vacation, and he didn't want to disturb him. Also, previously, Khalil wanted 四小強 (Hins Cheung, Ivana Wong, Louis Cheung) to be guests. But the timing of the concerts clashed with their schedules. Khalil revealed that he is nervous about the upcoming concerts because he hasn’t had time to practice. After entering the industry, he has never tried having enough time to prepare for a concert.

Regarding rumored girlfriend Fiona Sit's earlier attack, Khalil revealed that he had called her and knows that she is ok. He said, "Luckily it was only a small injury. I feel that she handled it well; she was very calm entering the hospital. I hope that fans or anyone do not resort to violence."

When asked he was worried about his own safety when attending functions, he answered. There is a chance for danger with anything. There are accidents when you are driving as well. Khalil learned from co-workers at their record company, Warner, that the man who threw the bottle at Fiona is a fan of Fiona's. Prior to the attack, the man constantly went to Fiona’s company to look for her. When employees told him that she was not there, the man refused to leave. Earlier, Warner had informed security to not let the man enter the company again. Normally, Fiona's fans are well behaved, so it appears that the man was a crazed fan. Fiona herself has not learned this news as she is working in Japan at the moment. Responding to comments from netizens that Fiona calling an ambulance was a waste of public funds and that she pretended to cry in order to get sympathy, Khalil said, I hope that the netizens and everyone else can view this event in a positive way.
