Rumour has it that TVB is currently negotiating with actor Anthony Wong to make a TV comeback through a new drama series.
The Hong Kong media reported that the company is hoping to gain more viewers with Anthony's collaboration, and is currently planning to produce a Kung Fu themed series for their 2014 line-up.
Anthony, who has not been in any drama series for a decade, already has the experience filming with the genre, after playing the role of Wing Chun grandmaster, Ip Man in "Ip Man: The Final Fight".
According to sources, director Wong Jing and good friend Eric Tsang have been persuading the actor to make a comeback since early this year, by saying that TVB is willing to pay a high price for his return.
Similar comeback offers had been given to another movie actor, Tony Leung [Kar Fai] before, for another project with Michael Miu. However, the actor had to withdraw due to filming injuries.
